Now you have booked your Study Visit to Wellcome Collection, we advise you to dedicate one lesson for preparing students for your visit.

Working with teachers and education professionals, Wellcome Collection has put together a suite of teaching resources to support a visit to the collection.

Resources are themed around topical issues in medicine and society and the current Study Visit explores the science, history and art of body shape and image.

We highly recommend that you print out the teachers’ notes and a copy of The Big Picture, which explores the science behind body shape and image. These will help you plan your visit
